Shares of Assured Guaranty set an all-time high of $42.94 on Friday after the company reported late Thursday Q4 earnings and revenues that were better-than-expected.
After the close on Thursday, the insurance company reported non-GAAP EPS of $1.05, up from $0.92 last year, and above the Capital IQ consensus estimate of $0.68 per share.
On a GAAP basis, the company earned $1.49 per share, down from $3.03 per share for the same quarter last year.
Total revenue of $470 million fell from $775 million a year ago, but beat the estimated $271.2 million.
