Asian ADRs Move Higher

American depository receipts of Asian stocks were trading 1.07% higher at 153.14 on the Bank of New York Mellon Asia ADR Index on Monday. In North Asia, the gainers were led by solar equipment provider SPI Energy (SPI), which jumped 26.9%, followed by photovoltaic provider JinkoSolar (JKS), which rose 2.6%. Steel company POSCO (PKX), and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) each climbed 2.1%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by (CYOU), and Yintech Investment (YIN), which fell 6.7% and 4.8% respectively. They were followed by alumiunum producer Aluminum Corporation of China (ACH), and steel company Ossen Innovation (OSN), which dropped 1.2% and 1% each.

In South Asia, the gainers were led by banks HDFC Bank (HDB), and ICICI Bank (IBN), which rose 3.7% and 2.2% respectively. They were followed by IT company SIFY Technologies (SIFY), and automobile manufacturer Tata Motors (TTM), which were up 2.1% and 1.5%.
