Triumph Group Fiscal Q4 EPS Tops Street Estimate, Revenues Miss

Triumph Group, an aircraft parts manufacturer, reported fiscal Q4 adjusted EPS of $3.09, up from $1.32 in the same period a year ago and topping the estimate of $1.58 from analysts polled by CapIQ. Total revenues of $919.9 million were down from $1.06 billion in the same period a year ago and fell short of the Street projection of $923.9 million.

The company said it expects fiscal 2018 revenue in the range of $3.10 billion to $3.20 billion, short of the Street projection of $3.46 billion. Triumph said it expects revenues to increase in fiscal year 2019 as development programs enter into production and sales from new wins offset sunsetting programs. Triumph also said it has entered into a settlement with Canada’s Bombardier related to the design, manufacture and supply of wing components for Bombardier’s Global 7000 business aircraft.
