Microsoft has joined Baidu’s (BIDU) Apollo alliance to assist the Chinese search giant’s development of artificial intelligence-powered vehicles. Microsoft will provide global scale for the Apollo project outside of China with its Azure cloud.
The Apollo alliance is an open platform that provides a comprehensive, secure and reliable solution to support all major features and functions of an autonomous vehicle.
